Terms and Conditions for Services: Terms of Use

By accessing or using the Scriptegrity website, you agree to use this website and its services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

Scriptegrity provides independent review and assessment services designed to examine authorial understanding, evidentiary support, transparency, and responsibility in submitted work. Our services do not guarantee publication, academic acceptance, professional approval, legal compliance, or any particular institutional outcome.

Clients remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, lawful use, and final submission or publication of their work. A Scriptegrity review, report, finding, or other service does not transfer responsibility for the underlying work from the author or client to Scriptegrity.

By submitting materials to Scriptegrity, you represent that you have the right to provide those materials for review and that our examination of them will not violate the rights of another person or organization.

Nature of Scriptegrity Services

Scriptegrity provides independent review and assessment services intended to help authors, researchers, professionals, educators, and other clients examine the integrity and defensibility of their work.

Scriptegrity may evaluate matters such as authorial understanding, evidentiary support, source use, transparency, internal consistency, attribution, and the client’s ability to explain and take responsibility for submitted work. The scope of each review depends on the service requested and the materials provided.

Scriptegrity does not act as a university, publisher, journal, licensing authority, accreditation body, law firm, or regulatory agency. A Scriptegrity review, report, assessment, or finding is an independent professional service and does not guarantee acceptance, publication, approval, certification, legal compliance, academic credit, or any other outcome by a third party.

Client Responsibilities and Submitted Materials

Clients are responsible for ensuring that materials submitted to Scriptegrity are accurate, lawfully obtained, and provided with appropriate authorization. Clients must not submit materials that infringe intellectual property rights, violate confidentiality obligations, contain unlawfully obtained information, or otherwise violate applicable law.

Clients remain the authors and owners of their submitted work, subject to any rights held by other parties. Submission of materials to Scriptegrity does not transfer ownership of those materials to Scriptegrity.

Clients are responsible for reviewing Scriptegrity’s findings and deciding how those findings are used. Any final manuscript, article, report, academic submission, professional document, or other work remains the responsibility of its author or submitting client.

Scriptegrity may decline, suspend, or discontinue a review when submitted materials or requested services appear unlawful, deceptive, abusive, outside the agreed scope of service, or inconsistent with Scriptegrity’s standards of responsible professional review.
